First up in the video is the closing of WJRT's Saturday Late Movie, which is followed by several commercials for local businesses. After a quick station ID and a promo for an upcoming Detroit Tigers baseball telecast comes the sign-off, a very basic one utilizing a static station logo graphic and voice-over. In the sign-off announcement, seven microwave affiliate stations are mentioned. The SSB video that rounds out the video is from the U.S. Marine Corps and features view of the Iwo Jima Memorial in Washington, D.C..

WJRT-TV is the ABC network affiliate for the Tri-Cities market in central Michigan (Flint, Saginaw and Bay City) and has been such since the station's inception in October 1958. Channel 12's studio building in Flint was originally that of WTAC-TV Channel 16, a UHF station that was on the air for several months during 1953 and 1954 before going dark (it was an ABC affiliate). WJRT was once an ABC owned-and-operated station from 1995 to 2011. It is currently owned by Gray Television.
