This WVVA-TV sign-off features a new station logo and new video of the studio building and transmitting tower atop East River Mountain. It also borrows video of the main and auxillary transmitters from the 1989 WVVA-TV sign-off linked to below. Both transmitters have probably since been retired with the coming of digital HDTV. The SSB video is the same as the one used in the 1989 WVVA sign-off. The sign-off is preceded by a NBC-6 public service announcement and a news bumper.
