WUAB-TV Channel 43, Lorain/Cleveland, Ohio
SSB and Sign-Off recorded circa 1981

Page updated and modified Tuesday, 25 August 2020

A pretty plain TV sign-off, slowly articulated by announcer Marty Sullivan and features a graphic consisting of housetops with TV antennas atop them. It is preceded by a U.S. Marine Corps SSB film featuring the Iwo Jima Memorial in Washington, D.C.. WUAB, launched in September 1968, was originally owned by United Artists Broadcasting (hence the call letters), who sold the station to Gaylord Broadcasting by the time this clip was recorded. It is currently owned by Gray Television and is affiliated with The CW network.
