Fort Wayne's ABC-TV Netwok affiliate, "21 Alive", calls it a night with this video featuring scenes of city residents engaged in various summertime activities as well as some views of Fort Wayne's skyline. Afterward comes an abbreviated recording of Ray Charles' rendition of "America The Beautiful", visually accompanied by images of Americana. Several seconds of the 21 Alive color bars rounds out the video. Presumably, this recording was made prior to September 1989, the time at which Pulitzer Broadcasting, the owner mentioned in the clip, sold WPTA-TV to the Granite Broadcasting Corporation. Currently 21 Alive is owned by the Malara Broadcast Group, with Granite Broadcasting operating the station through a local marketing agreement (LMA).
