WPRI-TV Channel 12, Providence RI
Sign-Off recorded 15 February 2014 (widescreen)

This video is proof positive that there's still a few TV stations in the United States that signs off at least one night a week. The station here is the CBS network affiliate of Rhode Island' capital city.Though only thirty seconds in length, the sign-off announcement does manage to get in some technical info, such as operating on a frequency of 210 to 216 megahertz which is digital channel 13 (VHF). Scenes of downtown Providence serves as the video backdrop for the sign-off. Thirty seconds of WPRI's Pinpoint Doppler Weather Radar closes out the clip.
