The Florence area's ABC affilliate's sign-off and sign-on combined into one clip. This was recorded (along with a couple of other clips) while I was spending several days in Cheraw, South Carolina (at least 40 miles north of Florence) on a vacation. I made this recording with the motel room's cable TV line run into my four-head Emerson VCR, which I had brought along with me. The sign-off is preceded by a WPDE-Hardee's restaurant promo and a brief spot advertising the WPDE premiere of The Jerry Springer Show. Fans of the US Air Force's "Aim High America" SSB clip will love this clip, as it is featured after the sign-off and before the sign-on.
