A 3 AM sign-off from Chicago's first television station........NOT!! (WBBM-TV 2, the CBS O&O station was actually the first: WLS-TV was the third behind WBBM-TV and WGN-TV). The ABC Television Network's O&O ended its broadcast day with Reflections, this installment features a Roman Catholic priest telling an Oriental story abouit a saint who visits Hell. The live sign-off announcement follows, the visuals consisting only of the "Circle 7" ID slide and the NAB's Seal of Good Practice. The SSB film is chock full of historic paintings depicting the American Revolution and The U.S.'s Founding Fathers, which was also used by WLS-TV at sign-on time.
