Recorded the same morning as the WPDE-TV sign-off and sign-on clips during a few days of R&R down in Cheraw, South Carolina. Excert for the station ID graphic, this is exactly the same as the 1989 WIS-TV sign-on linked to below. It begins with about a minute of color bars, then an "America the Beautiful" clip which features the Iwo Jima Memorial in Washington, DC, then the station sign-on announcement delivered by Joe Pinner, aka "Mr. Knozit".
