This is an attempt at a re-creation of a WGN-TV signoff circa 1978. The images of the WGN-TV ID/John Hancock Building and the copyright notice was taken from a 1980 WGN-TV sign-on. The NAB Seal of Good Practice came from an early-1980s KWGN-TV (Ch. 2, Denver) sign-on. The audio, rendered by announcer George Bauer (spelling?), is from a 1978 recording from Dave Riley's TVDX site. Unfortunately, the first ten seconds or so is missing.

NOTE: The video files featured on this website are taken from my VHS home recordings of over-the-air and cable video captures, clips contributed by others and clips downloaded from YouTube and similar sites. The quality varies from clip to clip, due to TV reception and recording issues. None of the clips that are featured here have been authorized by the various television stations, networks or any other entity.
