| The SPS in the station's call letters stand for Spokane Public Schools, which has owned and operated Channel 7 since its initial sign-on in 1967. This sign-off clips feaures numerous shots of snow and ice-covered trees, pesumably shot on or near Mount Spokane. This PBS affiliate station's signal is also seen by viewers in British Columbia and Alberta in Canada, as well as the signals of at least four other Spokane TV stations. |
