FOX 18 for the Quad Cities area ceases 24 years of analog broadcasting with this rather brief announcement, accompanied by video of its transmitter tower. After a half-second of color bars, the picture goes to "hash", which is TV industry slang for static. The Quad Cities, depite its name, actually consists of five municipalities; Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa and Moline, East Moline and Rock Island, Illinois. My apologies for the rather poor quality of this clip.
