The sign-off clip of Honolulu's long-time ABC affiliate is what one would probably expect from a Hawaiian TV station, full of scenic views of Honolulu and the splendor of the islands accompanied by the strains of "Aloha Oe". As the individual islands of Hawaii are separated by many miles from each other, Channel 4 (and most Honolulu stations) uses several satellite stations and at least one translator station to cover the entire state. The translator is K51BB in Mount Kahili, Kauai. The satellites are KMAU 12 in Wailuku, Maui and KHVO 13 in Hilo, Hawaii. The SSB film used is one of many produced by the U.S. Air Force.
