| Sign-off of the Pacific Northwest's first television station and Seattle's NBC-TV network station. The video commences with the closing moments of KING-TV's Five Star Movie. The sign-off immediately follows, a mere seventeen seconds in length with a static "K5" logo and announced by Dick Peterson. After this comes a long inspirational film produced by the Religious Broadcasting Commission for the Churches of the Northwest, featuring views of nature and various creatures of the wild. An SSB film is next, featuring video of Apollo 17, the final NASA lunar mission and the only night launch of a Saturn V in the program (thanks goes to James Rankin of San Antonio, TX for supplying TV-signoffs.com with this info). A few seconds of KING-TV 5 color bats concludes the clip. |
