Alabama Public Television (APT)
Sign-Off recorded circa 1992 (Black & White)

Page modified Wednesday 10 June 2020

A long-distance sign-off capture submitted by Matt Sittel of Belleview, Nebraska, who made this recording while living in the Florida Panhandle area in the early 1990s. It is not known which of the nine stations of the APT Network this was recorded from. It is a black-and-white recording with occasional flashes of color near the end. Alabama was the first state in the USA to organize a statewide educational TV system, beginning with WCIQ-TV 7, Mount Cheaha and WBIQ-TV 10 in Birmingham in early 1955./font>
