A long-distance sign-off capture submitted by Matt Sittel of Belleview, Nebraska, who made this recording while living in the Florida Panhandle area in the early 1990s. It is not known which of the nine stations of the APT Network this was recorded from. It is a black & white recording with occasional flashes of color near the end. Alabama was the first state in the USA to organize a statewide educational TV system, beginning with WCIQ-TV 7, Mount Cheaha and WBIOQ-TV 10 in Birmingham early in 1955.

NOTE: The video files featured on this website are taken from my VHS home recordings of over-the-air and cable video captures, clips contributed by others and clips downloaded from YouTube and similar sites. The quality varies from clip to clip, due to TV reception and recording issues. None of the clips that are featured here have been authorized by the various television stations, networks or any other entity.
